About Me
I started my career in business, I studied business management in college because I always knew I would own my own business. Like any other college student, I got a job after graduating but found that I did not enjoy it. I did not feel like I was helping others, I really desired to help others reach their full potential.
So I made a shift. I accepted the invitation. I shifted to education, went back to school earned a degree in teaching and became a teacher. Teaching was fun. I enjoyed teaching students technology. As time went on I began to take on more and more responsibilities. Then, it happened again. I felt the desire to be more, to have a greater impact on the students we were serving.
So I made another shift. I said yes to the invitation. I went back to school and became a school Principal.
As a Principal, I was known for turning struggling schools around by igniting people and processes. It was challenging but rewarding. I learned a lot of hard lessons about how to deal with people, politics of the job, how to grow other leaders, and about myself.
Then one school year I was moved to the high school to support the Principal in turning around that school. I didn’t want to go to the high school, the school where that I was leading was doing good, there were some challenges with the staff, but that is a normal part of leading others. I was voluntold, so I went.
Halfway through the school year I was told that I was doing great and could stay at the school next school year, but it would be my choice.
I answered the call, accepted the next invitation. This shift was a critical step of faith, one that I didn't think I was ready for but recognized my journey was preparation for it.
I was concerned about how I would provide for my family. I wanted to be responsible. I realized the responsible thing to do was to make the shift into business ownership, even though it was not the most ideal circumstances.
The same effort and determination that I needed to get my resume noticed is the same determination that I directed toward building my business.
I discovered how to use my skills, experience, successes, and growth lessons to create a business where I could do what I always wanted to do...ignite the champion in others by helping them fulfill their dreams.
I want to do the same for you. I want to help you make the shift into leadership, however it may look for you. It's your time.

What Others Are Saying!
Jamal led with sincerity to help me identify business opportunities I was missing. His program was so sound. Many times business coaches talk "at you" and tell you what you need, but this experience was completely different. He took the time to understand my business challenges and needs, then together we were able to design a program that allowed me pursue the most critical elements now.
